Don joined Welenken CPAs as an intern in 1981 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. It was here that he discovered his passion for tax law and enrolled in law school at the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. Don has devoted his career to studying and researching tax law to create strategies to maximize wealth for his clients.
Don is a devoted University of Kentucky basketball and football fan, and enjoys spending time with his family.
